Our Story

I didn’t start out with perfect scores; I struggled with the SAT’s structure, timing, and pressure. But I knew there had to be a system behind it. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with hundreds of students to crack that system, helping them score 1450+ and gain admission to top 20 schools, including Stanford, Harvard, and Columbia.

That experience became Portal-6: a streamlined platform built around a simple, proven idea: score first, then story, then strategy.

We start with what’s measurable: the SAT. From there, we help students build meaningful projects and craft applications that reflect who they truly are. Along the way, I’ve brought together a team of expert mentors who share that vision; like Eddie Huang, our Head of Student Projects, and Alannah Zhou, our lead mentor in debate and profile development; to give students the clarity, confidence, and structure they need to reach their dream schools.
